Background: The Rialto was built in 1929 during El Dorado's oil boom years, the theater is one of the best local examples of Classical Revival architecture, and is one of the largest and most elaborately decorated performing spaces in southern Arkansas.
Claims: The historic building is said to be haunted by footsteps, apparitions, and the smell of ghostly cologne in one of the upstairs restrooms. The location has been featured on many television shows due to its haunting reports.
